One of a Kind

I am not a copy, nor a twin

Not a puzzle meant to fit right in.

I walk my path, I write a song,

Even if the world thinks it's wrong.

My steps might stray

But I still choose to go my own way.

I laugh too loud, I dream too wide,

With all my flaws, I stand with pride.

I see the stars not just above

But in my thoughts, my tears, my love.

I paint the skies inside my mind

And leave no single spark behind.

Some try to change me, dim my shine

Tell me to play a safer game

But I was born to dance, not to hide

To live out loud, not shrink inside

So here I am, bold and free.

Not perfect, but a unique me

And in this world, so big and wide

That's all I need to make me last.
