Her eyes were twinkling, full of tears,

But her lips were chained.

Though still she was free,

Obeying everything, as her heart was pained.

Never hesitant, never disbelieving,

She never knew that she would soon be praying.

A few months passed.

She went to college,

Crossing her limits

And gaining more knowledge.

But who knew

What she would know,

What others had known—

She slowly grew.

Over time she changed,

Not only in heart but in beauty and brains.

She developed new interests

And started having gains.
